Product Overview

Form Origins

A small incense burner designed after the persimmon. “Persimmon” (柿, shi) is a homophone for “matter/thing” (事, shi), so “persimmon persimmon as you wish” (柿柿如意) becomes “everything as you wish” (事事如意). The persimmon form is round and full, with a warm orange-red hue, making it a common symbol in traditional auspicious themes.
